Dr. Deanna Worley is a professor of surgical oncology at the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. Originally a Montana native, she received her BS in Biomedical Science from Montana State University in 1995 and her DVM from Colorado State University in 1999. Diverse post professional schooling experiences were gained through a rotating small animal internship in Dallas, associate veterinary service in Spokane, and surgical interning at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston. She completed her residency in small animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 and a surgical oncology fellowship at Colorado State University in 2008. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Small Animal Surgery that same year and has continued since at Colorado State University in the fight against cancer. She became an ACVS Founding Fellow in Surgical Oncology in 2012 and an ACVS Founding Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Small Animal, in 2020.
