As near infrared fluorescence has taken hold of the imagination of surgeons in both human and veterinary fields, the potential uses have continued to expand. While its use for the biliary and lymphatic systems have been the focus in recent years, many more opportunities for the use of NIRF in surgery exist. This session will discuss a variety of uses for NIRF technology and look to what types of dyes may be used in the future to help us diagnosis and more accurately treat our patients.
