Minimally invasive surgeries are a specific type of surgeries that are performed routinely in equine and small animal surgery. Laparoscopy is performed more rarely in farm animal surgery despite offering multiple advantages in term of morbidity. The major indication of laparoscopy in bovine surgery remains the correction of left displaced abomasum. This presentation focused on the recent data regarding the laparoscopic approach for displaced abomasum, as well as the use of laparoscopic approach for reproductive surgeries.
