With the growing use of polyacrylamide hydrogels to treat equine OA, there is also growing concerns about how it works to effect in such remarkable improvements in lameness and whether it may mask signs of pain leading to/aggravating equine musculoskeletal injuries. This seminar will discuss currently available scientific data on the use of PAAG in people and horse, outcomes and how to address concerns regarding its safety.
