During this seminar, the speakers will present evidence-based information on several topics in sporting dogs. We will be discussing the topics of cranial cruciate ligament rupture, elbow dysplasia, hip dysplasia and fracture management in working and sporting dogs. each of the four presenters will focus on one of the four topics. The lectures will focus on case presentation, special surgery selection and special surgical differences as well as nuances in aftercare of these athletes and working dogs to maximize outcome and to return them to best form and function. The last portion of the presentation will be a panel discussion. The goal of the presentations is to allow the participant to learn about options for treatment of these common conditions while keeping in mind the special challenges of sporting and working dogs.
