Eric Strand is Professor Equine Surgery at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Medicine. Eric currently performs research in Equine upper respiratory tract obstructive disorders, airway dynamics in the human upper respiratory tract during exercise, and genetic mapping of potential performance related genes in harness racehorses. He is otherwise an American (ACVS) and European (ECVS) Board Certified Specialist in Equine Surgery with clinical interests in Equine upper respiratory tract surgery and arthroscopy.
