Dr. Jamie Kopper is an Assistant Professor at Iowa State University, where she works on the internal medicine and emergency and critical care services. She completed her DVM and PhD at Michigan State University, a rotating large animal internship at New Bolton Center and residencies in large animal medicine and emergency and critical care at Michigan State University. Her research interests are in improving intestinal barrier function and developing in vitro models to improve our ability to study equine intestinal disease.
