Dr. Lydia Love has worked in a variety of professional settings in two decades as a veterinarian, including high volume spay/neuter clinics, small animal primary care, private referral practice, and academic referral centers. Board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2010, she is currently a clinical assistant professor of veterinary anesthesia and analgesia at NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. Most of her time is spent on the clinic floor, teaching and performing anesthesia on a variety of species. Her research interests focus on patient safety and quality improvement efforts. She is also a consultant for the Anesthesia & Analgesia Folder on the Veterinary Information Network and a board member for the North American Veterinary Anesthesia Society.
