Edward Taylor Earley, DVM, FAVD/Eq, DAVDC/Eq, DAVDC/NSS-SA
Ed Earley started at Michigan State University for his undergraduate and veterinary medicine studies. He received a Dairy Science degree in 1983 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985. He was initially employed as a general practitioner in Wellsboro, PA from 1985-1987. In 1987 he started his own general veterinary practice in Williamsport, PA and managed it for 33 years until being sold to a local veterinarian in 2020. For 22 years from 1997 to 2019, Ed farmed locally; raising Friesians, Fell Ponies, Angus cattle, hay, corn, soybeans, oats, and wheat. In 2004 he started a part time equine Dentistry Fellowship program with the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry and obtained the degree in 2008. In 2008 he started a part time dental residency program at Cornell University in large and small animal dentistry and oral surgery. In 2014 he became a Diplomate with the American Veterinary Dental College for Equine and recently in 2022 he became a Diplomate with the American Veterinary Dental College for all species and small animal. Currently, he is an Associate Clinical Professor at Cornell University working in the department of large animal dentistry and oral surgery.
