Jason Syrcle, DVM, DACVS (Small Animal), is an Associate Professor of Clinical Small Animal Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Jason also serves as Surgery Section Chief at PennVet. Dr. Syrcle graduated with a DVM from the University of Missouri in 2003, completed an internship and surgical residency at the Animal Medical Center in NYC and became an ACVS Diplomate in 2009. He was previously a faculty member at Mississippi State University from 2009-2019, where he served as an Associate Clinical Professor and Chief of Small Animal Surgery. Dr. Syrcle is an AOVET faculty member and has served as a board member for the Veterinary Orthopedic Society. Jason’s clinical interests include fracture fixation, angular limb deformity correction and total hip replacement.
