Dr. Wallace is an associate professor of small animal surgery at the University of Georgia (UGA) College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Colorado State University. She was the PennHIP research fellow at the University of Pennsylvania prior to her master's degree program and residency in small animal surgery at the University of Florida. She joined UGA as an assistant professor in August 2016 after completion of her residency. Dr. Wallace's research interests are in hepatic vascular anomalies, septic peritonitis, hepatocellular carcinoma, and biomaterials for soft tissue surgery.
