Assistant Professor of Small Animal Surgical Oncology

Maureen Griffin obtained her veterinary degree from the University of California-Davis. She then performed a rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, returned to UC Davis for a small animal surgery residency, and subsequently pursued a surgical oncology fellowship at Colorado State University. Since completing fellowship training, she has been practicing surgical oncology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is interested in the clinical management of surgical oncology patients, contributing to the training of veterinary students and veterinarians in surgery and surgical oncology, and clinical research assessing novel imaging techniques, minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and interventional radiology within the field of surgical oncology.
