Near-infrared fluorescence (NIRF) has become standard practice in many different human oncologic and abdominal procedures. Using fluorophores such as indocyanine green can facilitate the identification of small or hard-to-see structures, especially in minimally invasive procedures. During this seminar, the speakers will review the technology of NIRF and its applications for oncologic, biliary, and thoracic MIS procedures in veterinary medicine. This seminar will also discuss exciting new avenues of research.
